Scoring System:
1 run – for hitting any of the wicketkeepers’ wall, side walls or ceiling first.
2 runs – for completing a run between the wickets, without the ball hitting a wall/ceiling.
3 runs – for hitting any wall (bar the boundary wall) and completing a run between wickets.
4 runs – for hitting the boundary wall (behind bowler) directly with at least 1 bounce.
6 runs – for hitting the boundary wall (behind bowler) directly with no bounce.
1 extra run – for any overthrow that contacts a wall.
2 wides – for any wide delivery
➢ if the ball hits any wall or the batsman run after the wide is bowled, the subsequent runs will
be added to the 2 wides.
2 no-balls – for any no ball delivery
➢ if the ball hits any wall or the batsman run after the no-ball is bowled, the subsequent runs
will be added to the 2 no-balls, or to the batsman’s score if they contact the ball.
Byes/Leg Byes – as per the same scoring system above, but obviously without any bat
contact.
The coin toss for the match should be effected as early as possible on arrival before the match (captains and team managers).
There is a small viewing gallery for parents and supporters and two changing rooms (one on either side of the viewing gallery) remain available for teams to store their hardball kit, use for padding up and general changing purposes. Please take all items home with you and avoid leaving any lost property behind.
